Black oxidized ejector pins Din 1530 A
The oxidized nitrided ejector pin is produced with hot working tool steel, nitrided and it can be used to eject moulded parts out of die casting and injection mould tools. After the plasma nitration (aprox. HRC 70; 950 – 1100 HV 0,3 kp), the ejector pin is provided with an antioxidant coating. This guarantees that the ejector pin has excellent performance characteristics on dry running and has a high corrosion resistance thanks to the oxidized surface. The antioxidant coat of the nitride ejector pins has been specially intended fot the requirements of the ejector pins, in close collaboration with specialized heat treatment companies.
Preserves the mould bore
This type of nitriding preserves the moulds bore and ejection is improved.

Nitriding by oxidation
The oxid layer serves as an antiadhesion layer that avods the fused masses to adhere to it, avoiding burrs and solidifications.
The costs avoided for the repair of the moulds are significant with this type of ejector pins.
